HMR Stuffing

This HMR stuffing recipe is perfect to make to have or bring to your Thanksgiving dinner! Enjoy this to support staying “in the box” for Decision Free or Healthy Solutions, or have as a lower calorie option in Healthy Shakes or Phase 2!

INGREDIENTS

1 HMR Mushroom Risotto Entree

1 HMR 500 Chicken Soup

1 HMR Multigrain Hot Cereal

1 tsp Bell’s Seasoning

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat entree as directed on package; make cereal as directed on package.

2. In a bowl, mix heated entree + cereal together. Add packet of soup (dry) and Bell’s Seasoning; mix.

3. Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray; spread mixture into pan.

4. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

5. Serve and enjoy!

Optional: addition of diced vegetables (carrots, onions, celery) for Healthy Solutions, Healthy Shakes or Phase 2 plans).

Mini Pumpkin Pies

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Multigrain Cereal packet (ground)
  • 1 70+ vanilla packet
  • 2 oz water
  • ¼ cup unsweetened canned pumpkin (Healthy Solutions)
  • ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • Optional: 1 Tbsp sugar-free, non-dairy whipped topping

DIRECTIONS

  1. Crust: Heat oven to 350° F. Spray a small, oven-safe dish with nonstick spray (or muffin tin). Mix together 1 oz of water with the Cereal until moist. Press Cereal into the prepared dish to make a thin crust. Bake for 20 minutes and let it cool.
  2. Pie filling: In a small bowl combine pumpkin spice and 70+ powder and stir. Add in 1 oz water. If on Healthy Solutions, add pumpkin. Stir until it has a creamy consistency.
  3. Spread pie filling over the cooled crust. Top with optional sugar-free non-dairy whipped topping.

Banana Bread Pudding

Are you looking for a new recipe to warm you up on these cool fall days? Try our Banana Bread Pudding! This recipe counts as two shake servings and can be enjoyed any time of the day. If you are on Healthy Solutions, Healthy Shakes or Phase 2 – try adding sliced banana for more volume!

Ingredients:

  • 1 70+ Chocolate Pudding
  • 1 HMR Multigrain Cereal
  • 1 tbsp. Sugar Free Banana Cream Pudding

Directions:

  1. Make pudding according to package instructions. Add 1 tbsp. sugar free Banana Cream Pudding and stir until combined.
  2. Make HMR Multigrain Cereal according to package instructions.
  3. Combine both recipes. Eat as is or chill until all ingredients are cool.

Multigrain Waffles

Looking for a new breakfast option? Try HMR Waffles! This recipe is a great weight-loss breakfast with only three ingredients. Top with your choice of fruit and sugar-free syrup. HMR Waffles supports the Decision-free, Healthy Solutions, Healthy Shakes and Phase 2 diet plan.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 HMR Multigrain Hot Cereal
  • 1 HMR 70+ Vanilla Shake
  • 1/4 – 1/3 cup water

DIRECTIONS: 

  1. Blend Multigrain Hot Cereal mix in a food processor or blender until flour consistency. Then mix with 70+ shake powder and stir to combine.
  2. Add in water and stir until you get a thick batter consistency.
  3. Heat waffle iron over medium heat and spray with cooking spray. Pour batter, and cook until golden brown.
  4. Top with sugar-free maple syrup, warm fruit, or fresh fruit.

Helen’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles

Looking for a chocolaty, delicious snack or dessert? Try these chocolate peanut butter truffles! Can be used if following Phase 1 (Healthy Solutions or Decision Free) as well as Healthy Shakes and in Phase 2.

 INGREDIENTS:

  • 1HMR chocolate 70+
  • 1 HMR cereal
  • 1 Tbs cocoa powder
  • 2 oz water
  • 1 Tbs PB2

 DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine 70+, cereal, cocoa powder and water until completely combined (mixture will be a little sticky).
  2. Take small scoop and put in a bowl of 1 TBSP PB2 and coat completely.
  3. Roll scoop coated in PB2 in hand until forming a small ball.
  4. Repeat until you have used all of mixture; makes about 8 truffles.
  5. Place truffles in small container; chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  6. Enjoy as a delicious snack or dessert!

  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
  6. Enjoy as a single 550 calorie serving or bring to your next get-together for a yummy side dish!

Lisa’s Peanut Butter Cookies

Peanut butter cookies… need I say more? Give these delicious decision-free treats a try!

Ingredients

  • 1 HMR Multigrain Cereal
  • 1 HMR Vanilla Shake Packet
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 Tablespoon PB2
  • Water

Directions

  1. Mix cereal, vanilla shake, and baking powder with enough water to make a cookie dough consistency.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
  3. Sprinkle cookies with a bit of salt before baking (optional)
  4. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees
  5. Mix PB2 with a bit of warm water to make a peanut butter paste
  6. Spread the peanut butter paste on top of the warm cookies and enjoy!

Sweet Muffins

Bake up a batch of these muffins and still stick to your diet!

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages HMR Multigrain Cereal
  • 1 70+ Vanilla shake
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar free pudding (choose your favorite flavor)
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • nonstick spray
  • optional: 2 packets of non-caloric sweetener

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a muffin tin and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl add all ingredients and stir to combine.
  3. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  4. Divide muffin batter into 6 cups and bake for 18 minutes or until the center is cooked through.

*Each muffin = 1/2 shake (approximately 96 calories).

HMR Apple Waffles

Ingredients

  • 3 HMR 70+ Vanilla packets
  • 1 packet HMR cereal
  • 1 cup Gala apple, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup diet 7up

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together to make a thick batter.
  2. Spray waffle iron with nonstick spray and cook until golden brown. The batter will rise more than expected.
  3. Makes four 9-inch waffles. Top with sugar-free maple syrup.

Multigrain Oatmeal Cookies

Delicious Decision-Free cookies you can have on the go.

Ingredients

  • 1 HMR Multigrain Cereal packet
  • 1.5 Tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1-2 packets of non-caloric sweetener
  • 2 ounces of water
  • More options to add: 1 Tablespoon PB2 OR 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon OR 1 teaspoon almond extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl
  3. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray
  4. Spoon cookie batter onto sheet into four evenly sized cookies (or smaller if you’d like more)
  5. Bake for approximately 15 minutes depending on how crunchy you want them
  6. Remove from oven to cool
